We supply EV chargers, charging accessories and professional installation services.
Our EV charging products may include 7.4kW chargers with features such as smart app control, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity, Type 2 compatibility and weather protection, depending on the specific product selected.
Installation is carried out according to the requirements of the property and the existing electrical installation.
3. Pricing and Quotations
Prices displayed on our website may change from time to time.
The price applicable to an order will be the price confirmed at the time of purchase or in a written quotation.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, additional work required due to site conditions may be quoted separately before the work is carried out.
Additional work may include, but is not limited to:
Electrical upgrades
Consumer unit upgrades
Additional cable requirements
Groundworks or trenching
Unusual or extended cable routes
Additional protective equipment
DNO-related works
Other work outside the standard installation requirements
Where installation is advertised as included with a product, the installation remains subject to the property being suitable for the standard installation.
4. Standard Installation
A standard installation is subject to the property being suitable for the selected charger.
Customers may be required to provide accurate information regarding:
Property type
Parking location
Electrical supply
Consumer unit
Proposed charger location
Cable route
Access restrictions
If the installation cannot be safely completed under the standard installation requirements, additional work may be quoted before installation proceeds.
5. Site Assessment and Installation
Where required, NextGen Charge may conduct a remote or physical assessment before installation.
Customers must provide reasonable access to the property and relevant electrical equipment.
An installation may be postponed or declined where:
The existing electrical installation is unsafe
Required access is unavailable
The proposed installation location is unsuitable
Required permissions have not been obtained
Additional work is required that was not included in the original quotation
Any necessary additional work will be discussed with the customer before it is carried out.
6. Installation Appointments
Installation dates are arranged with the customer following confirmation of the order.
Any stated installation timeframe is an estimated timeframe unless a specific date has been confirmed in writing.
The customer should ensure that an authorised person is available where their presence is required to make decisions regarding the installation.
Customers who need to reschedule an appointment should provide reasonable notice.
7. Payment
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of purchase or quotation.
Where an installation-first/payment-after-installation option is offered, payment will become due in accordance with the agreed payment terms following completion of the installation.
Any additional work approved by the customer will be payable in accordance with the agreed terms.
8. Charger Warranty
Warranty coverage depends on the specific charger purchased.
Where a product is advertised with a specific warranty period, that warranty applies subject to the applicable manufacturer's warranty terms and exclusions.
Warranty coverage does not normally apply to damage caused by:
Misuse
Accidental damage
Physical damage
Incorrect use
Unauthorised modification
Tampering
Incorrect electrical work carried out by a third party
Environmental conditions outside the product's intended specification
Where applicable, the warranty stated on the relevant product page will apply to that specific product.
The NextGen Pro product is currently advertised with a lifetime warranty promise for qualifying charger faults that are not caused by the customer. The precise scope and exclusions of this warranty should be confirmed in the applicable warranty terms.
9. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:
Providing accurate information before installation
Obtaining any required landlord, property-management or other permissions
Providing safe and reasonable access to the property
Informing NextGen Charge of any known electrical issues
Ensuring that the proposed installation location is suitable
Customers living in rented properties or flats may need permission from their landlord or property management before installation.
10. Cancellation and Refunds
Customers purchasing online may have statutory cancellation rights under applicable UK consumer law.
For distance contracts, consumers may generally have a 14-day cancellation period, subject to applicable exceptions. The applicable cancellation period and exceptions may depend on whether the contract concerns goods, services, or both.
Where a customer requests that a service begins before the applicable cancellation period has ended, the customer may be required to pay for services already provided where permitted by law.
Where goods are returned, the customer may be responsible for returning the goods where applicable and in accordance with the relevant cancellation rules.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or limit any statutory consumer rights.
[Management confirmation required: Confirm NextGen's actual cancellation, refund and installation cancellation process before publication.]
11. Faulty or Non-Conforming Products
If a charger is faulty or does not conform to the contract, customers retain their statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
Depending on the circumstances, the customer may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund in accordance with applicable law.
Customers should contact NextGen Charge as soon as reasonably possible if they believe a product is faulty.
12. Installation Defects
Where an installation service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill or does not conform to what was agreed, NextGen Charge will seek to remedy the issue in accordance with applicable consumer law.
13. Electrical Safety
All installation work will be carried out in accordance with applicable electrical safety requirements and the requirements applicable to the specific installation.
Where an existing electrical system is unsuitable for the proposed installation, additional electrical work may be required before the charger can safely be installed.
NextGen Charge reserves the right not to proceed with an installation where doing so would be unsafe.
14. Product Compatibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle and property information.
Although our team can assist customers in selecting a suitable charger, compatibility should be confirmed before purchase where required.
Type 2 connectors are widely used by electric vehicles in the UK and Europe; however, compatibility may vary depending on the vehicle and charging setup.
15. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications and prices displayed on our website are accurate.
However, product specifications, availability, images and pricing may change from time to time.

16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable UK law.
Nothing in these Terms affects the customer's statutory consumer rights.
We will not be responsible for losses or delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including delays caused by third parties, DNO works, utility providers, extreme weather, restricted access or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
17. Events Outside Our Control
NextGen Charge will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing its obligations where the failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where possible, we will notify affected customers and make reasonable efforts to minimise the impact.
18. Complaints
If you have a concern regarding our products or installation services, please contact NextGen Charge as soon as reasonably possible.
We will investigate complaints and aim to resolve them fairly and promptly.
[Management confirmation required: Add the preferred complaints contact email/phone number.]
